These were taken the night Chase started walking (Oct 8th), it took me some time to figure out how to get them on here...

Our very discerning pumpkin picker...

So many choices...

"This is the one for me!"

Three little pumpkins in a wagon.

"I'm up past my bedtime AND at my first Ducks game - life is good!"

Paying close attention to the game.  And trying to make friends with the stranger in front of him, it would appear.

Look who's starting to pull his own weight around here!  ;)

Helping Mom in the kitchen - HAHAAAAA!

Road trip off to a good start!

At the top of the Santa Barbara Courthouse - so gorgeous.

It was a cold one!

We took Chase to a play area in a bookstore and he loved it.  He's going to be - well, is - a smart one!

Well, well, well, what do we have here?  Chase's favorite... a giant friendly animal!

Checking out the scene at the end of Stearns Wharf.  He got really excited about the pelican (as did the other tourists - everyone was following it around and taking pictures like it was a rare, endangered animal - weird.)

Santa Barbara Mission.

Urban wine tasting.

Having breakfast at the Cajun Kitchen.

We went to the Sea Center at the end of Stearns Wharft, and our first stop was the toy store.  Chase loves loves loves stuffed animals.  He was kissing this stuffed polar bear.  Lucky polar bear - kisses aren't always easy to come by.

Checking out the fish...

"This is cool!"

"Let me in there!"

Touching the fish!  He freaked out over this - and so did the fish, I'm sure, since Chase hasn't mastered the concept of "gentle" yet.

We may or may not have really enjoyed Yogurtland while in SB.

We stayed in an awesome vacation rental and sort of wanted to move in!  We had to get a picture of this "Chase-sized" cubbyhole - he was in this thing constantly and it was literally a perfect fit - any shorter and he would have been bonking his head constantly.

Wine tasting!

Took Chase for a bike ride along the water, it was gorgeous!

Live band outside of The Palace Grill.

On our way home we stopped in Malibu, our old 'hood.  Chase could have played in this sandbox all day, he was LOVING IT.  Ah, to frolic among the rich and famous...
