Chase's new pal, Kruise Hotsenpiller, was born on December 27th. First stop after deboarding the plane from MN? Hospital!
Adam came too, but he was in the lobby watching Chase and forgot to take a pic when it was his turn.
The boys! Kruise is home from the hospital and Chase is ready to show him the ropes. After he gets some good sleep, that is.

It's hard to stay upright when you are wearing this many clothes and big clunky boots! He mastered it in minutes on a flat surface at home, but then we hit the bumpy snow.

I couldn't believe how great this picture turned out - so beautiful. We were seriously in a winter wonderland.
Somehow Donovan managed to drink coffee without someone stopping him (17 is his decaffeinated age; 5 is his age when he's had caffeine). We all know what this means. It was hours before, but the effects were still very much present. He was hanging off the back, jumping off the sides, doing backflips in the snow then running to catch up with us. Honestly, it was really funny - thoroughly entertaining... What else would we expect from Donovan?

After the sleigh ride we went to check out the very real barn (as in, not a petting zoo type of barn). There was every type of animal, not to mention smell! Chase was fascinated.
